Your privacy is our priority. Here’s what you need to know:

We DO NOT sell your data. Period.

Payments are Secure: We use Stripe, a world-class payment processor. We never store your full credit card or bank account numbers.

Your Legal Name is Protected: We only collect your Full Legal Name for customs compliance. It is only shared with your confirmed Carrier for them to make the customs declaration and is not public.

Chat Logs: We store chat messages to protect you and provide a formal record for users to reference when resolving their own disputes.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Qerrier collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password.
Profile Information: You may provide a public display name.
Transaction Information: To process payments and payouts, we collect necessary information for our payment partner, Stripe, including payment method details and bank account information. Qerrier does not store your full credit card or bank account numbers.
Legal Information: To comply with customs regulations, we require Requesters to provide their Full Legal Name. This name is stored securely and is only shared with your confirmed Carrier for customs declaration purposes.
Communications: We store all chat messages and images sent through the platform to ensure transaction integrity and provide a formal record for users to reference in case of a dispute.
Uploaded Content: We store images you upload, such as receipts, to facilitate the transaction and verification process.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate and maintain the Qerrier platform.
To facilitate transactions between Requesters and Carriers.
To process payments and payouts via our partner, Stripe.
To enable communication between users.
To provide customer support for platform-related issues (e.g., technical errors, payment failures).
To enforce our Terms & Conditions and other policies.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it in the following limited circumstances:

With Other Users: Your display name is public. Your Full Legal Name is shared only with your confirmed Carrier for the sole purpose of customs declaration.
With Service Providers: We share information with our payment processor, Stripe, to handle payments and payouts. We also use Firebase (Google) for database, authentication, and hosting services.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure protocols, to protect your information. All payment and payout information is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.

5. Your Choices

You can review and update your display name at any time in your Profile. You can manage your saved payment methods and payout details through our secure Stripe-hosted portals, also accessible from your Profile.
